Vocal Music I is our entry level ensemble, typically made up of freshmen and sophomores. This course is designed to teach the fundamentals of vocal technique, rehearsal technique, score-reading and music-reading, in an effort to prepare our young singers for future involvement in Millbrook’s advanced choirs. In addition to singing in our school concerts, they have participated in the NCMEA Large Festival. Attire for Vocal Music I is a white tunic, which is ordered through the chorus department, to be paired with either a floor length black skirt or black dress pants, to be purchased separately by the student.

Students may participate in fundraisers to help cover the cost of the tunic.
